Some information and improvements we know about the iPhone 16 series

Apple's iPhone 16 series is expected to bring a series of major updates and improvements.

First, in terms of size, the screen of the iPhone 16 Pro will increase to 6.3 inches, while the screen of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will expand to 6.9 inches, which is the first time Apple has upgraded the size in many years. It is worth noting that these size changes will be limited to the Pro models, while the standard version of the iPhone 16 will remain the same size as the iPhone 15.

In terms of hardware, Apple is designing the A3 series chips based on the latest N3E 3 nanometer technology for the iPhone 18 series, which may bring performance and efficiency improvements. In addition, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro may use different chips, and the high-end chips may be limited to the Pro models.

In terms of design, the iPhone 16 series will introduce a new vertical camera layout, which is different from the previous diagonal layout, which may provide spatial video capture capabilities for the future Vision Pro headset. The iPhone 16 Pro Max may be equipped with an ultra-telephoto periscope camera, providing significantly increased optical zoom capabilities. The standard iPhone 16 is expected to adopt a vertical camera layout similar to the iPhone 12.

Finally, it is rumored that the iPhone 16 Pro model will use stacked battery technology, which may bring higher battery capacity and longer life, while supporting faster 40W wired charging and 20W MagSafe charging.
